Rhwnc Uchaf is a comfortable, spacious single storey detached holiday cottage for 2 - 6 on the side of "Parys Mountain" the site of an ancient copper mine & an industrail heritage site, featured recently on National TV . All the popular Island attractions are within a half hour drive, & several excellent restaurants within 15 minutes.
Accommodation Entrance hall leads to 2 bedrooms (one double with "stag" mahogany furniture ), one small single (with room for 2 children, one in pull out bed) Bathroom has shower over bath. The large bright kitchen diner (renovated with new oak kitchen for 2006)overlooks garden. Well equipped with electric double oven & hob, kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge (with small freezer compartment) & washing machine. Door into large lounge, with feature fireplace, and wood/coal burning stove. Comfortable bed settee & easy chairs. TV,video & radio. French windows open onto lawned garden, with picnic table & garden chairs. The garden is securely fenced & catches the sun for most of the day.
It has a small "sunken rock garden" which is sheltered from the wind. there is plenty of room for children to play.
Bed linen is provided & beds are made up for your arrival. Electricity, & some fuel for fire are included in the price. Off road parking for 2 cars.
Local area A shop and a pub are a mile away. The nearest town, Amlwch is 3 miles away. A variety of beaches within 3 to 5 miles, including the rd winning, sandy Lligwy Bay. Fishing, golf, riding and other amenities are all nearby.
