A traditional style eco friendly wooden house (3 bdms slps 6) for the balcony and spa bath and panoramic views.
Greystonelea Lodge is not just a charming self-catering cottage but also an eco-friendly showhouse for renewable energy. Built in the autumn of 2005, the house occupies a superb location, set in more than 120 acres of woodland and open countryside in a small village close to Loch Lomond and within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. So good are its facilities it has been awarded 4 stars from Visit Scotland. Everything in the cottage is eco-friendly and of the very best quality. Solar panels heat the water and power the lighting, and there is a beautiful remote-control operated modern wood-burner in the lounge which is capable of heating the whole building with an A-rated oli-fired central heating system as back-up. Light switches can be adjusted from low to high levels and the fully fitted kitchen is equipped with many labour-saving, state of the art devices. Greystonelea is also disabled friendly. The shower on the ground floor is also invalid-capable with grab handles and an emergency cord. Other amenities include an en suite master bedroom with a balcony commanding wonderful panoramic views. Children are very welcome - there is an outdoor play area for them, and a high chair is available if required. 7 miles from Dumbarton Amenities
