Beautiful, newly refurbished, bungalow for self-catering holidays.
Set in grounds of Strathwhillan House, in a quiet but convenient location, A'Chir is self-contained and comprises 3 bedrooms and a sitting room (all with fantastic sea and mountain views), spacious bathroom and fully equipped dining kitchen.
Breakfast in the private courtyard and enjoy sundowners in the garden as the sun sinks beyond Goatfell. Garden furniture is provided and a BBQ is available on request.
With one double, one twin and one single bedroom, the bungalow is ideally suited for groups of up to five people, although an extra, slightly smaller, bed is provided if required. A cot and high chair are available by arrangement.
Bedrooms have wash-basin, shaver point, and colour TV, and the sitting room has TV, video, and stereo system. The dining-kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave and full-size cooker. The spacious bathroom has bath, shower and WC, all with safety grab rails.
Level access and specially designed interior make this a suitable holiday home for wheelchair users and anyone with mobility problems.
Full central heating and an electric fire ensure the comfort of the off-season visitor, and drying facilities are available should you be unfortunate enough to encounter wet weather! We operate a free laundry service if required.
There is ample parking and cycles can be chained in the secluded courtyard.
Letting is from Saturday (4pm) to Saturday 10am) from mid-May to mid-September and all Bank Holiday weeks. At other times, shorter breaks may be available by arrangement.
Smoking is prohibited in house and grounds, and we do not accept dogs (except guide dogs)
