Lyndon is a detached stone cottage located on the outskirts of the village of Ballygrant, approximately 5km from the ferry terminal at Port Askaig.
Lyndon is a traditional cottage yet with very modern amenities. There are 3 large bedrooms. The master bedroom upstairs has a king size bed and an en-suite bathroom, complete with bath and electric shower. Also upstairs is a bright spacious twin bedded room. There is a further double bedroom located downstairs.
The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier. The family bathroom, situated downstairs, includes a spa bath.
The lounge features an open fireplace and open plan dining area with oak laminate flooring throughout.
The cottage is ideally located for exploring Islay with many of the attractions nearby. Finlaggan, The Ancient Seat of the Lords of the Isles, is only a short walk from the cottage and is both scenic and of historic interest. For the fishing enthusiast, Loch Ballygrant, Loch nan Cadhan and Loch Finlaggan are all very close and fishing permits can be obtained from Islay Estates. The distilleries of Bunnahabhain, Caol Ila, Bruichladdich and Bowmore are all within 10 minute drive. Ordnance Survey maps and walk route maps are available in the cottage.
Prices range from £350 - £550 per week and are all inclusive.
