Set on the shore of Loch Striven, this beautifully situated cottage enjoys views across Loch Striven and the surrounding mountains.

Recently awarded 4 stars for quality from Visit Scotland, Pier Cottage is cosy and comfortable and can accommodate up to 6 people (utilising the renovated smokehouse set in its grounds.) Access to the property is by private estate road.

Inside, as with all our properties, Pier Cottage is decorated and furnished to a very high standard. On the ground floor you will find a comfortable sitting room with open fire and balcony (perfect to enjoy the view), a fully fitted kitchen with dining table, a twin bedroom and bathroom. The lower ground floor boasts a bathroom with sauna and Jacuzzi and a large double bedroom; while in the smokehouse you will find a further double bedroom on the upper level with a bathroom on the lower level.

Please note that in addition to being an idyllic country retreat, Glenstriven Estate is a working country estate. It is therefore our duty to point out that our properties would be unsuitable for any persons who object to Field Sports.

The property is let from Saturday to Saturday from £450 to £650 per week, depending on time of year (inclusive of electricity, logs for the open fire, heating oil, linen/towels etc). Please contact Glenstriven Estate for availability and prices for specific weeks.

Two luxurious self catering cottages are available to let on Glenstriven Estate. Just over an hour west of Glasgow (and 25 minutes outside Dunoon), this secluded yet accessible estate provides the perfect holiday location for families and country lovers, a panoramic backdrop for such relaxing pursuits as fishing and walking and a perfect base from which to explore Argyll. Each of our individual properties is situated in its own private grounds, no property overlooks another and there is no through traffic. Both Pier Cottage and Highfield Cottage boast stunning views, comfortably furnished interiors, open fires and a relaxed homely ambiance. Prices quoted are weekly and include electricity, logs for the fire, bed linen, towels etc. Special rates exist for short breaks and long weekends – please enquire. These lovely cottages are available for let all year so whether you are looking for a summer holiday, spring or autumn break or an out of season getaway a warm welcome awaits you and your family.

A boat is available with the properties during the spring and summer months (subject to weather). Fishing, walking, horseriding available locally.
