Fishermans Cottage, this holiday cottage is situated in a sunny sheltered spot in one of the oldest parts of Tobermory and is only a minutes walk from the beach, harbour, shops and restaurants.
Open plan pine staircase, pine dining table and chairs The ground floor has ceramic tiles and upstairs there are wooden floors and exposed beams retaining the character of the building. The cottage is comfortable and cosy with central heating. The lounge has two settees, colour tv and video player and telephone.
The kitchen is well equipped with washing machine, microwave, fan assisted oven, fridge-freezer. The twin bedroom with walk in wardrobe, vanity unit, and the double bedroom has matching pine cupboards.
The cottage has a small garden with stone steps and pots with flowers and a bench to sit out in the sun.
Ferry Services
Caledonian MacBrayne operate ferry services from Oban, Lochaline and Kilchoan.You can book the ferry from Oban.
The bus service operates on the island between Tobermory and Craignure and Fionphort (where you cross to Iona) Portrainich Cottage is not on the bus route. You can hire a car on the island.
I provide a brochure service for people coming to the island, and will send you a pack of over 30 leaflets and brochures of things to see and do on the island, including maps,ferry timetables, wildlife trips, Iona, whale watching trips, castles, places to eat, restaurants, cycling, fishing, golf, and many many more.
