Burnside Lodge is a stone built detached cottage, with magnificent views from the lounge down to sea and hills. The lounge is furnished with two green leather settees as well as having an electric focal point wood-burner.

There are electric radiators in the bedrooms and kitchen. There are two bedrooms, one double and one twin. The bathroom at Burnside Lodge has a rectangular walk-in shower, wash hand basin and wc all new for this season.

The cottage has an enclosed garden and off street parking and is non-smoking. Burnside Lodge is 5 minutes walk from the seafront,restaurants and shops

Ferry Services

Caledonian MacBrayne operate ferry services from Oban, Lochaline and Kilchoan.You can book the ferry from Oban
The bus service operates on the island between Tobermory and Craignure and Fionphort (where you cross to Iona) Portrainich Cottage is not on the bus route. You can hire a car on the island.

I provide a brochure service for people coming to the island, and will send you a pack of over 30 leaflets and brochures of things to see and do on the island, including maps,ferry timetables, wildlife trips, Iona, whale watching trips, castles, places to eat, restaurants, cycling, fishing, golf, and many many more.
