Ardtalla Farmhouse, sleeps 5, and is at the end of the road and sits in its own enclosed garden, with lovely sea views and access through the fields to a sandy beach (approximately 200 yards).

This detached cottage has its own personal character and is set in peaceful and scenic locations on the fifteen thousand acre Ardtalla Estate, with over one thousand red and fallow deer, close by, at your doorstep,. There are eight miles of deserted coast, filled with sand, seals and sea-birds, Scotland’s finest Celtic Cross dating from 800 A.D. and the largest of only three original Oak forests remaining in Scotland.
There are superb hill and coastal walks and opportunities for sea and loch fishing. In Port Ellen (eight miles) and Bowmore (eighteen miles) there are shopping facilities, pubs, restaurants and a post office. The Mactaggart Community Cybercafé in Port Ellen, serves food and has e-mail facilities.
Activities in the local region include fishing, diving, golf, bowls, tennis, cycling and pony trekking while, for wet weather, the Mactaggart Leisure Centre in Bowmore has an indoor swimming pool. The area also boasts three world famous single malt distilleries at Laphroaig, Lagavulin and Ardbeg. Add to this and abundance of wildlife and a wide range of birds and the prospect of holidaying at Ardtalla Estate becomes more inviting by the minute.
