Situated on a working croft by the shores of Loch Linnhe, Linnhe Croft Cottages enjoy stunning views across the loch to the Isles of Lismore and Shuna, the Morvern hills and the mountains of Mull. There is direct access onto the shore from the Croft.
Purpose built as a row (terrace) of three highland cottages, each cottage is completely self-contained with its own private access and a large shared parking area and garden.
The entrance hall leads into a spacious open plan lounge/diner and fully equipped kitchen. The patio doors from the lounge lead directly on to a large private deck complete with patio furniture to enjoy the panoramic views and sunsets. The bathroom contains separate bath and shower in two of the cottages while the third has a more spacious shower room. There are two spacious well furnished bedrooms, one double and one twin along with a sofa bed in the lounge if required. Along with all the elementary requirements each cottage is equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, electric cooker, microwave oven, television, DVD/VCR/CD player, toys and games, cot and highchair.
Each cottage sleeps 4 to 5 with baby. One well behaved dog is welcome. Non-smokers preferred.
Port Appin has many facilities including an excellent seafood restaurant and bar. The well stocked local shop and post office cater for almost all your requirements, with the towns of Oban and Fort William a pleasant drive away. There is a ferry service from Port Appin pier to the Isle of Lismore which is an ideal area for walking, cycling, bird watching and sea life. Local facilities include horse riding, hill walking, water sports and fishing. A wide range of wildlife can also be seen within the local district including many species of deer, fox and seal. A sighting of an otter or pine marten is rare but exhilarating. The area hosts a large variety of birds from small blue tits to the mighty eagle. Golden and sea eagles prey in the nearby glens while buzzards are frequently spotted perched on telegraph wires around the village.
Port Appin and Linnhe Croft Cottages make an ideal base for exploring the West of Scotland or to simply relax and unwind in a beautiful unspoiled environment.
