The Cottage is a short 5 minute level walk from both Helensburgh town centre and the West promenade/River Clyde, views over the Clyde make a walk along the promenade very worth while.
Paddle steamer the Waverley runs all summer on short trips and day trips stopping at many destinations including Dunoon and Greenock.
Sports: Locally there are many outdoor activities such as Sailing , Fishing, Golf, Rugby, and tennis clubs.
Outdoor activity centre and pony trekking nearby.
