Drumguish is a quiet hamlet of a mere 12 houses, just ½ a mile off the B970 road from Kingussie to Insh. The road to Drumguish has no through traffic. There are numerous country walks through moor and woodland to be enjoyed from the doorstep and wildlife abounds, with deer, squirrels, rabbits and birds of prey all nearby. In winter you may be lucky enough to see waxwings in the nearby fields or, in summer a cuckoo. As a result the house offers the ideal setting for an "away-from-it-all" holiday and is equally well placed as a centre from which to explore all the leisure and recreational pursuits available in the National Park. AVIEMORE, 12 miles away, is an internationally known holiday village with discos, hotels and restaurants. Drumguish is also near the Cairngorm Ski area, some 15 miles away and is about an hour's drive of Scotland's newest ski area at Aonach Mor, near Fort William.
