Birchwood and Rowan are two identical holiday chalets constructed in the typical Scandinavian 'A Frame' style. These cottages are superbly fitted in pine giving them a delightful warmth and character. Gas central heating with a simulated coal-electric fire ensures that the rooms are warm and snug throughout the winter.

Each cottage offers very comfortable accommodation for up to four people, in one double and one twin bedroom. The sitting room incorporates a dining area with patio doors opening onto a large veranda deck, ideal for entertaining, with a view onto the River Glass. Trout fishing is free to guests on our 3.5mile stretch of river. Fishing rods may be hired from Kerrow House.

Kerrow House, once the home of Highland author Neil Gunn, is a traditional Georgian Hunting Lodge, set in 12 acres of woodland, providing comfortable and peaceful accommodation on the banks of the River Glass. Private trout fishing over 3.5 miles of the river is available free of charge to all guests, while salmon fishing, deer stalking, bird watching, golf, pony trekking, mountain biking and hill walking (there are a number of Munros in the area) in the splendid Glens Affric, Cannich and Strathfarrar are just a selection of the activities available close to hand.
Kerrow House is situated a short drive from the infamous Loch Ness, and is well placed for daytrips to Inverness, the West Coast and Skye.
There are 5 properties on the Kerrow House grounds:
'Stalkers Wing' , a self-contained wing of the old house, with 2 double, 1 twin and 1 double bunk bedrooms, bathroom, shower, farmhouse kitchen /dining room and living room with wood burning stove - sleeps 8.
'Riverside Cottage", with a spacious open plan living room/kitchen with wood burning stove , 1 double and 1 twin bedrooms, bathroom - sleeps 4-5.
'Rowan' and 'Birchwood' Chalets, both with 1 double and 1 twin bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, living room.
'Fisherman"s Cottage", a large 1 bedroom cottage with spacious living room (with wood burning stove) / kitchen and bathroom - sleeps 2.
