About Moray CottagesSituated right in the heart of Malt Whisky country, approximately half way between Aberdeen and Inverness in Scotland's beautiful North East you will find Moray Cottages. Located 1200 feet above sea level on the side of the hill looking towards the south east stands the old Steading building. Once a mill, the old barn has been tastefully converted into two exceptional self-catering cottages with generous proportions. Both cottages have self-contained, enclosed gardens with panoramic views over the valley towards Auchindoun castle. Centrally heated with open fires in the living rooms both cottages are fully equipped with everything you would expect from a quality and luxurious holiday cottage. The peaceful location, half a mile from the nearest road, is surrounded on all sides by fields, with a burn at the bottom of the valley, and allows visitors to get away from the noise of modern life.
