Auchintae Farm bothy is a bright, superb self-catering barn conversion situated on the Moray Firth coast and in the heart of whisky country. Beyond the immediate area, within a 50 mile radius, are the cities of Aberdeen and Inverness, the Cairngorm mountain range, the ancient battle field of Culloden, Loch Ness and Royal Deeside.
The many man made sites and places to visit range from ancient Pictish standing stones to the visitor centre at Baxters food processing plant on the banks of the River Spey, from castles and stately homes to the whisky distilleries of Moray and Banffshire, from the spectacle of highland games to Johnston's Cashmere Visitor Centre. There are boat trips from nearby Buckie harbour to see the dolphins in the Moray Firth and a wide range of outdoor and indoor sports and activities to suit all the family.
