Self catering chalet situated in an elevated position in Tyndrum (gateway to the highlands); an excellent location for touring Scotland and hill walking / Munros. Surrounding views are fantastic - situated on the West Highland Way.

Internally there is 1 double bedroom, a twin bedroom, open plan living room & kitchen and a bathroom. It can comfortably sleep 4 people, 6 using bed-settee.

The kitchen includes electric cooker, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster etc. The bathroom has a bath and electric shower.

In the living room there is TV, Video, DVD player and hifi with radio / cd player. Heating is electric throughout.

The chalet is ideally situated for hill walking, cycle touring, canoeing, mountain biking, golfing, walking the West Highland Way (WHW).

We are centrally located which makes Glengarry an excellent base for touring. Some families have indeed stayed here for more than 2 weeks going to Perth, Skye, Edinburgh, and Inverness. The list of options is endless.

Munroists will find 20 munros within 10 miles of us and 30 within 15 miles. Plenty to keep you occupied for a few weeks. In fact 4 munros can be done from the house in one day..... leave the car and come back knackered after an epic.

Tyndrum is on the A82, the road north to Oban and Fort William. There are excellent facilities in the village including fish & chips @ The Real Food Cafe, pub, restaurant, petrol station, mini market and cash machine.
