Close by is Lake of Menteith, Scotland's only lake, where you can enjoy a short boat trip to the historic Inchmahome Priory. About 5 minutes drive away lies Queen Elizabeth Forest Park with beautiful trails for walking or cycling. Visit Aberfoyle famous Scottish Wool Centre or Loch Katrine, where a trip on the steam shop "Sir Walter Scott" is a must.
Fishing and golf enthusiasts are catered for close by. If you don't like to be too far from the hussle and bussle of city life, with Stirling 30 minutes, Glasgow 45 minutes, Perth and Edinburgh 1 hour away by car. You need not worry. Each caravan sleeps 6, cost is £150-£180 per week per unit inclusive of gas and electricity. Both caravans are non smoking.
