This former forestry cottage is in a lovely woodland setting with fine views over the Campsie Fells to the rear and the Gargunnock Hills to the front. Forest walks by the Carron valley reservoir and to the impressive Loup of Fintry waterfalls begin from the doorstep. It is an excellent base 12 miles to the south west of Stirling from which to discover this area which has so much to offer. Loch Lomond and the Trossachs are each within half an hours drive and yet Glasgow and Edinburgh are each still only one hours drive away. The cottage has been recently decorated and furnished to a high standard. It is double glazed and has oil fired central heating throughout. It can sleep two to six people although pricing has been kept low to keep it attractive if just two people wish to stay. Rentals include electricity, oil fired central heating and fuel for the open fire. Bed linen and towels are also included in the tariff. The cottage offers ground floor accommodation featuring a fully fitted kitchen with dining area, a living room and a bathroom with bath and electric shower. Water is from a spring supply straight from the Campsie Fells The bedroom accommodation comprises one double bedroom, one twin bedded room and a third bedroom containing an adult sized bunk with a double bed/settee underneath, a three quarter folding bed in this room gives added flexibility if required.
