Beautifully situated on the edge of the picturesque Highland village of Kinloch Rannoch, this lovely 19th century stone-built house enjoys magnificent views over Schiehallion Mountain and up Loch Rannoch to the distant Glencoe peaks. The house has been extensively renovated, however the traditional charm and character of the cottage remain and some rooms feature the traditional panelled walls and wooden floors. This is a comfortable and welcoming holiday home and bed linen/towels are provided. A double bedroom and both bathrooms are on the ground floor. There is a large enclosed garden with swing and bench and the loch shore is within 100 yards. The village shops and hotel are a short walk.
The Rannoch area offers much in the way of outdoor activities with climbing, walking, mountain biking, bird watching, pony trekking and water sports on the doorstep, whilst quiet country roads twisting around the mountains and lochs make this ideal touring country. The country towns of Aberfeldy and Pitlochry offer good shopping, eating out and leisure activities.
2 double bedrooms, 2 bedrooms each with three single beds (cot and high chair are available), comfortable homely living room, dining room, spacious well equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower over bath, shower room and porch.
