Thorndene is a self contained wing of Balmore, a large listed house in a three acre walled garden a stone's throw from the River Tay. 1.5 miles from Dundee and 11 miles from St. Andrews, it is spacious, bright and sunny, and equipped to a high standard.
The main approach is from West Road by a two hundred yard drive through wooded grounds. The accommodation is on the ground floor and is entered by a single step up from an enclosed courtyard where cars may be parked. On the west side of the house, the garden door opens onto Thorndene's private garden, which is mainly lawn. Garden furniture, (supplied), may be used here and in the courtyard, both of which offer safe play areas for children.
