This imposing former Victorian villa stands on an elevated site with splendid views over the attractive Victorian spa town of Moffat and towards the Moffat hills. There is also private parking and a covered area for cycles.

The elegant first floor apartment boasts many of the villa's original features, allowing you to experience the spaciousness and style of the Victorian age combined with all the modern comforts.

There are two large bedrooms - the double with en-suite. The second bedroom has twin beds but if not required, the room - which has a piano - can also be arranged as a sitting room. There is a portable TV that can be viewed in either room. The 24 feet long drawing room offers impressive views through the large bay window. All the furnishings are new and include a dining table and a good quality sofa bed which can sleep two. There is a large TV with digibox, a video and a DVD plus a music system.

The 16 feet kitchen is fully fitted and equipped with breakfast table, a cooker, a fridge, a freezer, a washer, a dryer, a dishwasher, a microwave and other appliances such as a 'George Foreman' grill. The bathroom is stylishly tiled and includes a shower that is over the bath. There is gas central heating and dedicated private car parking.

If the apartment looks more like a home than a holiday let that's because it is the owners' home in Scotland and consequently was furnished and equipped with attention to detail. Holme Park is within easy walking distance of Moffat's attractive centre, which offers a variety of shops, restaurants, hotels, bars, cafes and teashops as well as a Tourist Information Office.

There are facilities for golfers and anglers, while the beautiful Dumfries and Galloway countryside is a haven for walkers, cyclists and bird-watchers alike. Moffat is well placed for exploring both the attractions of the region and further north. The accommodation is not considered suitable for under fives or pets. Non-smokers only please. Prices range from £250 - £430 per week with three-day breaks available from £150 to £225.
