This spacious Victorian town house is centrally located in a quiet street in the historic town of Kirkcudbright. The house itself caters for 2 - 6 people. The newly renovated bright accommodation consists of the ground floor with an entrance hall with mirror and coat-hooks; the first floor where sitting room, dining room, large kitchen, bathroom and one double bedroom are located and the second floor where there are 2 single bedrooms and a further double bedroom with en-suite toilet and basin. There is a small private garden and a lockable store for bikes or golf clubs. Parking is on the street outside. Full central heating and electricity included. Linen and towels are available at an extra charge. Kirkcudbright is known as the "Artist's Town" because of its association with E A Hornel and the "Glasgow Boys" amongst others, Kirkcudbright has art galleries, a museum, swimming pool as well as the usual shops, banks, cafes and several excellent restaurants. The harbour is well used by fishing boats. All these amenities are within 5 minutes walk. Nearby are the Wildlife Park, many 18 hole golf courses, the David Coulthard Museum, beaches and opportunities for bird watching, fishing, walking and visiting historical sites and gardens. Kirkcudbright is also on the National Cycle Route 7. A full and varied programme of events in the summer has something for everyone and includes a jazz festival, Riding of the Marches and a spectacular Tattoo as well as numerous art exhibitions.
