Waterside Cottage nestles on the banks of Jed Water, glancing over old Canongate Bridge to Jedburgh Abbey.
Waterside Cottage was originally two cottages, and has been recently completely refurbished and redecorated. It is a holiday home that offers style, character and comfort.
The 30-foot lounge/dining area creates a terrific focus for family or larger group activities. From here, the spiral staircase leads to a large attractive twin bedroom.
From the dining area, four steps lead down to the large well-equipped kitchen, which includes a breakfast area. An open wooden staircase leads from the kitchen to a delightful double room, a play area and a further twin room.
The fourth large double bedroom, with en-suite shower-room is situated on the ground floor.
The bathroom, also on the ground floor, has a shower unit as well as a bath.
All rooms have views over the back garden and Jed Water, to Jedburgh and the hills beyond.
The stable door in the kitchen opens to a flight of steps down to the picturesque back garden, which runs down to the river. On one side of the garden is a drive, which can accommodate four cars.
The cottage is fully equipped for self-catering holidays. All beds have duvets. Bedlinen and towels are provided for use.
