Keepers Cottage is located at the top of Haworth Main Street, within easy walking distance of Haworth Parsonage plus all the other local amenities such as restaurants, pubs, cafes and shops. It is only a short walk to Haworth Park, which has a children's play area, bowling green and glorious flowerbeds. Just beyond the Park is Haworth Railway Station which makes up part of the Worth Valley Railway where steam and diesel trains run a regular service between Oxenhope and Keighley at weekends, holiday times and throughout the summer. Many of the trains have a real ale buffet car.For walking enthusiasts, you can walk straight from the house onto Penistone Hill and beyond to Bronte Falls and Top Withins (claimed by many to be inspiration for Wuthering Heights). It is only two miles to join up with the Pennine Way. There are many excellent walks within the local area, and a short drive up the road takes you to Skipton the Gateway to the Dales, a feast of marvellous countryside, walks and views. Visit places like Bolton Abbey, Grassington, Malham Tarn and Ingelton Falls to name but a few.There really is enough to keep you busy in the local area, but if you're on your second or third visit, or just like to venture further a field it is only a short drive to places such as Hebden Bridge, Halifax, Bradford, Harrogate and Leeds. You could even have a day out in York.Whatever you like to do when you're away, you will want to know you have a warm and cosy house to return to, a real home from home. Keepers Cottage aims to offer you just that. The cottage has been fully modernised and tastefully decorated throughout. There are two twin bedrooms (one more suitable for children) and one double bedroom with en-suite shower room, a house bathroom with over bath shower, a fully fitted kitchen dining room with all mod cons including a dish washer, washing machine and microwave.
