Situated over 1000ft above sea level, the views from the farmhouse are spectacular of surrounding hills and wooded valleys. A welcome of tea and home-made cake awaits the weary traveller. The Pennine Way passes by the farm and the Mary Towneley Loop, part of the Pennine bridleway, 0.5 miles from the Calderdale Way. The beautiful Hardcastle Craggs and the famous Bronte Country (Haworth) are only a short drive away. We are situated halfway between Halifax with its Piece Hall and Burnley and 2 miles from the popular Hebden Bridge Pennine Centre and hsitoric Heptonstall. The Calder Valley is worth that visit.
