Stabotton is a quiet unspoilt dales village with an excellent Inn, serving homecooked food and traditional ales.  There are footpaths and bridleways in all directions, gentle walks along the riverbank or more strenuous walks over the tops.  Horseshoe Cottage is a delightful base all year round, whether you enjoy walking, bird watching, cycling or touring and visiting the many delightful villages and market towns in the National Park.
