Scorton is a pretty traditional village with 2 pubs, shop and post office within 200m of the cottage. Sit in the window seat of the cottage and watch the Sunday and evening cricket on one of only two raised village greens in England.
Whether you have been out walking enjoying the stunning Yorkshire Dales scenery or pitting your fly fishing skills against the local trout in the River Swale, you can come back to Lyndale and lay back in the 6ft Victorian roll top bath and then retire in front of one of the open fires and relax.
