Village Facilities

The Play Area where the children can play to keep them happy, with slides and climbing frames. If they have the energy left there is the playing field to fly kites and play cricket or football. There is also the lake – well stocked with coarse fish, or just sit around in the sun and laze the day away.

The Games Room, with amusement machine arcade, is open daily.

The Beachcomber Family Room with its continental setting and atmosphere is an ideal place to take children to be entertained. There is also the Lounge Bar, which is reserved for adults only.

There is the added attraction of the fully filtered heated indoor swimming pool, set in its own tropical surroundings. There is an indoor games room and other facilities. Also available is the launderette with washing/drying and ironing facilities.

About Orchard Farm Cottages

Orchard Farm is a family owned site, specialising in self-catering holidays for all the family, in a tent, touring caravan, motor home or cottage.

Orchard Farm is maintained to the highest standards and a warm and friendly atmosphere await you to make your stay a happy and memorable one.

Orchard Farm Caravan and Camping – which is an extension to Orchard Farm Holiday Cottages has been established for several years. Having started as a farm, it has grown and is now known as Orchard Farm Holiday village.

Orchard Farm Caravan Park is set in 14 acres of well-kept grasslands. We have a superior toilet/shower block, shaver points, free hot water to all basins, washing up area with coin operated hot water and separate toilet facilities for the disabled. All facilities are cleaned and maintained daily.

The site pitches are set in well secluded level enclosures, offering electric connections to 230 volts AC standard EEC round pin sockets.

Dogs are welcome BUT MUST BE KEPT ON A LEAD at all times and exercised within the area provided. Any fouling of the area MUST be cleared immediately. Dogs must not be left unattended at any time.

It is ideal for exploring the beautiful Yorkshire coastline, discovering quiet sandy beaches, or taking long relaxing walks on stunning cliff paths.

On the days when you seek a little excitement – the lively resorts of Bridlington and Scarborough are on the coast, only a few miles north and south of Orchard Farm. Filey is loved for its resistance to change and still retains its original ‘fishing village’ appearance and atmosphere. There is the famous promontory Filey Brigg, which will delight anglers of all ages.
