The cottage lies on the edge of the picturesque village of Burton in Lonsdale by the peaceful River Greta.Fishing on the river is available by arrangement. The friendly public house, shop, Post Office, two places of worship, a recreation field with an all-weather pitch, crown green bowling and a playground for children.
