No 2 Middlegate is a traditional, old stone miners cottage situated in the quiet village of Burtersett, approximately 1 mile from the market town of Hawes in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. It was built in the early 1880's and is one of 16 quarry houses standing in the middle of the village. The village stands on the south side of Wensleydale with superb views up and down the dale.The cottage has recently been renovated to provide modern living in a traditional environment. It now offers high standard holiday accommodation for four people with everything you will need for your holiday.We are sure you will enjoy your holiday in Upper Wensleydale. There is always plenty to see and do with ever-changing seasonal landscapes. The Cottage offers 1 double, 1 twin, modern bathroom with shower over bath, living room with selection of videos, books and games, well equipped kitchen/dining room. |
