Little Till Cottage is in a tranquil and beautiful place in a unique setting next to the river Till. The Till is a clear gravel bed chalk stream fed from Salisbury Plain. The area is classified an Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty and this part of the river is an SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest).

Accessed from the A303 the property is at the end of a long track that leads only to Till Cottage and Little Till Cottage. There is plenty of parking space. The cottage is equipped to offer space and comfort for two people.

Easily reached from London in around 1½ to 2 hours, it is only 3 miles from Stonehenge. And there are walks to some of the most charming and unspoiled parts of England. There is a village farm shop in walking distance. Also within walking distance are 2 pubs both offering good food. Within easy reach by road are many beautiful old villages in this part of Wiltshire and around Salisbury Plain. There are also places to see such as Salisbury, Old Sarum, Bath, Wilton House, Stourhead Gardens, Longleat, Shaftesbury, Marlborough and much more!

Little Till Cottage is a detached building and has only recently been fully refurbished to a high standard.(VisitBritain 4 stars) With full central heating throughout. It consists of a ground floor kitchen dining room, with a small private garden overlooking a natural wooded water area beside the river Till. In the garden there is a dining area beside the river with table and chairs.

A spiral staircase from the kitchen leads to the first floor sitting room. A door from the sitting room leads to a bedroom with views across fields and with luxury twin 3-foot beds, or if you prefer - a six foot double bed!. At the other end of the sitting room a door leads to the dressing room and shower room with its washbasin and loo. The first floor is carpeted throughout. It is comfortable, clean and charming. Little Till Cottage is lovely at any time of the year for a short break or for a longer holiday.  

Equipment Inventory

Kitchen: Fridge with freezer compartment, automatic washing machine, oil fired central heating Radio/cassette (and some tapes) Microwave oven, cooker & ceramic hob, electric toaster, all cutlery, china, kitchen utensils etc.

Sitting Room: 21" TV with DVD and VCR and a small library of films. Bookcase and books; a twin sofa bed with linen and duvet, and in a cupboard - fan, ironing board & iron, Hoover, dustpan etc.

Bedroom: Luxury twin three foot beds with feather duvets (Please advise if you are allergic to feathers!), wardrobe, chest of drawers, trouser press, cupboards etc.

Shower room & ante room: Dressing table, Hairdryer, stool & mirror, Towels, loo and wash hand basin.

Non smokers are welcome but unhappily children and pets are not.
There is too much wildlife and two existing small dogs on the property!
