The entrance into Lakeside Rendezvous is through a set of impressive wrought iron gates and the main house is situated to the right hand side. Further along Lakeside Lodge is situated on the left-hand side, screened by trellis and climbing plants.The lodge is a brick built building, which has been highly insulated to insure warmth during the winter months yet leaving it very cool in the hot summer months. Entrance into the property is via a pickett garden that overlooks the lake, and which nestles underneath beautiful birch trees. The lodge has a covered porch at the front entrance, which on to a very large living/dining room, which has been very tastefully decorated in calming colours.The living room has an open fireplace and a complimentary basket of logs will be provided. (Further logs may be acquired from the owner.) The large living area boasts a quality leather three piece suite for sumptuous comfort and a top quality sprung futon. There is a merchant’s chest for extra storage and a TV, video and music stack system. A set of French doors leads from the living area out onto a secluded patio where swallows, swifts, kingfishers, ducks and moorhens regularly feed.The dining area has very comfortable furniture that is set to look out over the lake through another set of French doors. The lodge has a fully fitted kitchen that has been very well equipped, including oven and hob, integral fridge with its own ice compartment, along with a dishwasher and microwave.The living and dining areas have wood flooring and lead through to the hallway where a well-sized bathroom is situated again exquisitely decorated and comprising of a very large shower cubicle, basin and WC.Both bedrooms also lead off from the hallway. The master bedroom has a 4ft 6’ double bed with fitted wardrobes incorporating plenty of hanging and storage space.
