The New Forest, The Cotswolds, Wells, Glastonbury and the south coast are only an hour away. There are many excellent golf courses locally, while fishing, swimming and riding are available nearby. The area is also ideal for walking, with many peaceful local bridle ways and byways.Abbotts Ball Farm is a small working farm with a livery yard and horse stabling. It is situated 0.5 miles from the village of Potterne, where there is a Post Office, food store and hair dresser. There are buses from the village to Devizes, Bath and Salisbury. The area has many good local pubs where delicious meals are served. The nearest railway stations are at Westbury and Chippenham, both approximately 11 miles away and we are happy to collect visitors from these stations by prior arrangement.Tastefully and comfortably furnished to a high standard, the cottage is attached to an attractive farmhouse and outlooks a large garden, which guests are welcome to use and has magnificent open country views. There is also ample parking space.The self catering accommodation is for 5 people and comprises of on the first floor; 2 bedrooms, 1 large double and 1 smaller double.
