Barn End is part of an old Cotswold stone barn set in gardens and trees near the centre of the delightful conservation village of Biddestone, an easy 10 mile drive from Bath. The owners Bob and Jenny Davis live next door. Children and well behaved pets are welcome and many guests come year after year.The village, with its fine village green complete with duck pond and gracious stone houses, is surrounded by attractive countryside, picturesque villages and walks. Barn End proves an ideal touring centre for visiting Bath, the Cotswolds, the Wiltshire Downs, the Mendips and South Wales, as well as historic and ancient sites in the area. There are two pubs in the village, both serving food and there are shops within 3 miles.The spacious accomodation provides a generous hall and a large living/dining kitchen leading into the gardens. Private parking for two cars is close to the cottage. The ground floor bedroom has two single beds and its own bathroom. The first floor bedroom is larger with a double bed and separate large bathroom with shower. The cottage is very fully equipped, has full central heating and a gas Aga for cooking.
