Cider House, is a family cottage on two floors. We believe it was formed from the old apple store, or possibly the press building. Downstairs is the kitchen/diner/lounge, a large room with high ceilings and stone fireplace with electric fire inset. Upstairs the large bedroom has a double bed, single bed and space for a cot. The bathroom with tub and shower has a vaulted, heavily beamed ceiling. Views from the cottages stretch fifteen miles to the Mendip Hills and Cheddar Gorge, over the peat levels, the haunt of curlew and heron, and around the cider orchards where sheep and cattle graze. They are situated approximately 2 miles from Glastonbury which is reputedly the birthplace of Christianity in England and the side of "King Arthur's tomb.
