Elm Cottage was originally an old cow stall, the accommodation is all on the ground floor (ideal for those who don’t like or cannot manage stairs), and consists of 2 bedrooms which sleep 4 people*.

One bedroom with twin beds, *(Z bed available if required to sleep 5)
One double room with radio alarm clock, hair dryer and shaver point.
One room with a twin beds
Bathroom with corner bath, separate power shower, washbasin and toilet.
Spacious living/dining area with log burner, colour TV, VCR, CD, radio.
Kitchen area with well equipped fitted kitchen, gas cooker, fridge/freezer, washing machine, iron, microwave, toaster and kettle.

On arrival you will find the makings of a nice cup of tea or coffee along with shortbread biscuits, and a warm welcome.In all the cottages you will find

Gas central heating and either an open fire or a log burner.
They are well equipped and furnished to a high standard.
Cutlery, crockery, pots, pans and utensils are plentiful and included for your convenience are salt & pepper, washing up liquid, dish cloths, tea towels, bin liners and tin foil.
Bed linen, duvets and towels are all provided at no extra charge.
Gas and electric is supplied by individual £1 coin slot meters. We ensure that the cottages are warm and that there is sufficient gas and electric for your arrival.

A selection of board games and childrens videos are available to borrow

Welcome Hamper

For your arrival an optional hamper (cost £15) can be provided in your cottage consisting of local produce (bread,cheese,eggs,fruit etc), enough to provide a light meal/ breakfast so there is no immediate rush to go shopping.

Changeover

Unless previously agreed, all bookings commence at 4pm, and on the day of departure the cottages must be vacated by 10am.
