A beautiful 14thC house situated at the North end of Vicars’ close in Wells, adjoining the close chapel.A majority of houses in vicars’ close are occupied by employees of Wells Cathedral including the vicar choral (men of the choir), for whom the houses were built around 1360 and who have been singing the services since the early Middle Ages. The house has four bedrooms designed to accommodate six people, one double, one twin and two singles.
