Pitcot Farm Barn Cottages are situated in an elevated position on the edge of the Mendip Hills, approximately 9 miles from Wells and 14 miles form Bath. They are surrounded by open farmland and face the beautiful Nettlebridge Valley. Perrink and Aken cottages have been recently created from a lovely, long, single storied barn. They take their names from the coal seams that ran through this part of the Nettlebridge Valley. Both properties are fully centrally heated and double glazed, and each has a log-burning stove for that extra cosy feel on a chilly evening.Both cottages have all the modern conveniences, which make staying in them extremely comfortable. All bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided, and heating, electricity and logs are included in the price. A cot and highchair are available. We welcome children! Across the farmyard is an indoor tennis court. This can also be used for other games such as volleyball, badminton etc. Although we enjoy the quiet of the countryside, the beautiful cities of Bath and Wells are just a few miles away. Longleat, Stourhead, Glastonbury, Wookey Hole and Cheddar Caves and Gorge are all within easy driving distance. We can assure you of a very warm welcome.
