About Primrose Hill Holidays

Situated between Exmoor National Park and the Quantock Hills Primrose Hill provides a self-catering holiday in a peaceful and secluded environment but within easy reach of all that West Somerset has to offer.

Walk, cycle, fish, go horse riding or travel on the West Somerset Railway!  All of this is possible either from your front door or within a short drive. Also available at no extra cost, comfort, cleanliness and amazing sea, castle  and moorland views!

We have now been running Primrose Hill Holidays for 3 years and it continues to be such a pleasure  to welcome so many guests to our bungalows, both returnees and new visitors.

Primrose Hill has been awarded 4 Star grading by Visit Britain and is a member of the  Exmoor Tourist Association .  

We welcome all disabled guests. All our bungalows have level wheelchair access with wheelchair friendly bathrooms and have been accessed under the National Accessible Scheme and  awarded Mobility Level M3 (Oak and Beech Bungalow) and Mobility Level M1 (Ash Bungalow).

Primrose Hill offers spacious, comfortable self-catering accommodation in a terrace of four bungalows with panoramic views over Blue Anchor Bay, Dunster Castle and towards Exmoor.

The  private rear gardens have wonderful views looking over Blue Anchor Bay towards the Quantock Hills and have the nostalgic sound and sight of the steam trains on the West Somerset  Railway. All are equipped with patio chairs, tables and parasols

The shared landscaped frontage with its attractive gardens and fabulous views of Dunster Castle, North Hill and the Exmoor foothills is a lovely spot to watch the amazing sunsets.

All  the bungalows are furnished and equipped to a high standard. They are personally cleaned and prepared for our guests by the owners  Towels and bed linen are provided.

The well appointed kitchens are fully fitted with fridge, cooker and microwave and have all the equipment needed for preparing ether a sandwich or a full Sunday roast!

The lounges are bright and comfortable with garden access and have a TV, video and radio/cd player. All the bedrooms are spacious and relaxing...sit in bed and watch the sunrise. 

Modern shower rooms have a wash hand basin, WC and a walk in shower. 

Each bungalow has parking for two cars with level access.

A complimentary welcome pack including milk is provided as well as washing-up liquid and other cleaning materials.

In consideration of the majority of our guests smoking is not allowed in any of the bungalows.

Well behaved dogs are welcome at an additional charge. Please bring suitable bedding for your pet.

Ash and Elm are 3 bed roomed bungalows and Oak and Beech each have 2 bedrooms. All are equipped to a high standard and have been recently redecorated and refurbished. Bath towels and bed linen are inclusive. Kitchen are fully fitted with fridge, cooker and microwave with a full complement of equipment. Lounges are bright and comfortable with TV and radio/CD player. Modern shower rooms have a hand wash basin, WC and walk in shower.A complimentary welcome pack including milk is provided as well as washing up and other cleaning materials.
