Nap Cottage (Annex to main house - 2 storey)

Upstairs: Double Bedroom. Bathroom.

Downstairs: Dining/Sitting Room with wood burning stove and spiral staircase. Fitted kitchen. Sleeps 2.

Off-peak central heating.  Wood burning stove.The cottages are set in 2 acres of grounds deep in the heart of the lovely Somerset countryside at Barton St. David, situated 9 miles south of Wells, 5 miles south east of Glastonbury and 25 miles south of Bath. 

There are many attractions and places of interest within an hours drive and the Somerset and Dorset coasts are within easy reach. The Cottages are surrounded by lovely walking country and fishing and riding are available locally. Close proximity to the Somerset Moors means there is good cycling with few hills; alternatively the peace and quite of our garden or during the season watching the village cricket team in action may appeal. 
   
Consisting of three self contained Units, Nooze and Leep Cottages have been converted from the old stables and are single storey. The third, Nap Cottage, is a self contained annex to the main house. Parking for all three properties is available in the grounds.  
 
All three Units are available for weekly and short stay lets. The Cottages are inspected annually by the English Tourist Board and have a "4 Stars Self Catering" rating. They are approximately 1 mile from the nearest shops and Post Office at Keinton Mandeville. A limited amount of Public Transport is available from Barton St. David to Street and Glastonbury.

The Cottages are normally booked from Saturday to Saturday however short term breaks and other dates may be available. It is requested that you arrive after 3.00pm on the day your holiday starts and that you leave by 10.00am on the day of your departure. The nearest railway station is at Castle Cary.

Facilities
  
All cottages have colour television and the use of the laundry room which includes washing machine, tumble drier and sink unit. A 50p coin meter operates the washing machine and tumble drier. Bed linen, towels and drying up cloths are provided at no extra charge. Mountain bikes are available for hire on request.

There is an additional nominal charge for pets which are welcome by prior arrangement. It is requested that they are not left unattended in the Cottages at any time.
