Charity Cottage began life as the stables to Manor Farmhouse and after the break-up of the estate it became the shepherds cottage to Charity Farm. Since his retirement in 1977 it has been available for holidays. Snugly situated near the centre of the village the accommodation is of the highest standard. The spacious traditional kitchen is equipped with en electric oven, gas hob, fridge freezer, microwave, dish washer and washing machine; this opens out into an appealing dining room with a warming open log fire. The Victorian sitting room has a colour TV and is furnished for comfort. The three pretty carpeted bedrooms provide comfortable accommodation for six adults. The master bedroom is beamed and has a double bed, this leads through an elm door into the shower room with WC. The second bedroom has twin beds and both these rooms enjoy a view of the hills. The third bedroom is on the ground floor next to the fully equipped bathroom and has divan beds. There is a large airing cupboard to dry and air clothing. The cottage is detached and has its own secluded garden and off-road parking for two cars.Broadway 3 miles, Chipping Campden 7 miles and Winchcombe 6 miles. These properties are ideally situated for touring the Cotswolds. Ideally sitiuated for both Cheltenham Races and Stratford Theatre. Stanton Village is an unspoilt 17th century village with the Mount Inn offering refreshments & food.
