With breath-taking views over the lake towards a site of special scientific interest, this modern glass-fronted house offers you the perfect place to unwind with friends and family.
All guests of Goose Nest House have free, unlimited access to the newly built slate-lined Artspa with its three pools (indoor and outdoor heated pool plus `eco` pool), gym, sauna, steam room, library and over 50 different pampering treatments (extra).
Goose Nest House is a family-owned house designed for groups and families alike. With five bedrooms (two kings, two twins and a small, child's bedroom), three bathrooms, a modern fully fitted kitchen including dishwasher, microwave, five hob double oven, full height fridge-freezer and washer dryer to take the strain out of your holiday.
For families, we have toys, a games console, TV with freeview, DVD player, books, CDs, DVDs to keep children entertained. We provide a high chair and travel cot free of charge and the house comes equipped with a sterliser, hand blender, bath mat, potty, baby monitor, and baby and toddler carriers so you don't need to bring all that with you.
The spacious, vaulted, open-plan living room has wall to wall glass sliding doors opening onto a balcony overlooking Somerford Lagoon, the largest lake on the Estate. The lagoon is the only lake in Lower Mill Estate that is not built all the way around - so you can sit admiring the wonderful, uninterrupted view of the wildlife and the morning sunrise.
The Lower Mill Estate also has a tennis court, children's playground, trampoline and plenty of walks to explore the seven lakes, three rivers and meadows. If you have a kayak or boat you can sail on the lakes, or you can fish on the lakes as automatic members of the Lower Mill Estate fishing club. There is also a small shop selling groceries, newspaper and freshly baked croissants.
The Cotswold Water Park offers a range of activities from cable water-skiing, cycling, kayaking, sailing, golf and fishing. Further afield you can explore the Cotswolds with its quaint villages, traditional English pubs and historic towns.
