Sealark is ideal for a peaceful and relaxing holiday and is available throughout the year, Sunday being changeover day.The chalet has 2 bedrooms, sleeps 4 having 1 double and 2 single beds. There is a fully fitted kitchen, which includes microwave and washing machine. A dining area is incorporated with the sun lounge. The chalet also has central heating so is ideal for year round use. Parking is next to the chalet. There is a shop nearby (seasonal opening) which has provisions and also serves snacks. The chalet is 150 yards from the beach and has stunning views over the sea and countryside. There is easy access to the unspoilt beach and the South West Coastal Path. The village of Eype, believed to be an old smugglers haunt is unchanged by the period of time. We have a pub and a hotel, which offers excellent meals and local ales. The National Trust owns much of the countryside and springtime brings sheets of bluebells, whilst in summer the cliffs are ablaze with wild flowers making Eype the perfect centre for walkers and nature lovers. Coastal walks undulate over the cliff top to Thorncombe Beacon, Seaton and Golden Cap to the west, and to West Bay and Burton Bradstock to the east, each with spectacular views over Lyme Bay.The busy market town of Bridport is only 1.5 miles from Eype and has a good range of shops, pubs and eating-places for everyone. The street market is held on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and the farmers market is held once a month. We are situated on the first natural World Heritage Site in Britain, known as the Jurassic Coast. We have been awarded this status because it is the only stretch of coast that offers a near complete record through 185 million years of earth history.Nearby towns include Dorchester, Weymouth, Charmouth and Lyme Regis.
