Riverside Park is a complex of 8 town houses furnished to a high standard and equipped with everything to make the most of your stay.We are located on the banks of the River Stour in the beautiful town of Christchurch, Dorset. Being only 6 miles from Bournemouth, Riverside Park is ideally situated not only for the many beaches within easy reach but also for the New Forest with its old inns and market towns.All houses have patios from the lounge and sun balconies from the master bedrooms overlooking our pretty secluded garden and the activity of the river. We also have a fully equipped barbecue and picnic area in a beautiful setting overlooking the river. Most of the houses have 3 bedrooms sleeping from 4 to 6 people, 2 toilets and a bathroom. All kitchens are fully fitted with oak units, hob and integrated oven together with microwave and fridge. All houses have undercover parking and also space to bring a boat on a trailer. Cots and high chairs are available for hire if required. Electricity is charged for separately, a reading is taken on arrival and again on departure and the units calculated. For those who like to set off early in the morning this can be done the night before by arrangement.Some good fishing grounds are to be found in the area, the River Avon providing some of the very best coarse fishing in the country. A trip on the local ferry will take you to Mudeford at the harbour entrance with its beaches and fishing community. Here sea fishing is available from the shore or from boats operated by local fishermen. The harbour is also ideal for dinghy sailing and windsurfing. Horse riding, hacking and trekking lessons are available from local stables. Golf courses, both 18 hole and 9 hole, plus a driving range, bowling greens and tennis courts are all in the area. If you enjoy walking you will be spoilt for choice when you visit Christchurch.
