Chideock lies some 7 miles from well-known Lyme Regis and two miles from the lively market town of Bridport. It is a short stroll from the cottage to the shingle beach at Seatown with its own Pub, The Anchor, on the sea's edge, serving great food and traditional ale, or to the top of sea cliffs with a commanding vista over the whole of Lyme Bay. Fossils can be found on the beach here and also at Charmouth, 4 miles to the west.Accommodation Details The cottage has two bed rooms, one with a king size bed and the other with three single beds. There is also a bathroom with shower and bath and a large south facing dining/kitchen/lounge area. There are French windows in the lounge opening on to a small private south-facing patio. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave oven, fridge freezer, washing machine, etc. There is a CD player, colour television, video recorder plus a supply of video tapes, and a selection of board games and books to read.
