The farm adjoins a community woodland, good paths for walking and cycling (storage for bikes). Good 'eating out' local pubs within walking distance.Greens Cross Farm has three comfortable holiday cottages. All have a lounge/diner with colour television, and a well-equipped kitchen. Each cottage has two bedrooms sleeping two adults and two children or four adults. There is a shower room with toilet and hand basin provided. Outside each cottage is a patio area with garden furniture where you can relax and enjoy the sunshine, also provided is a washing line. There is a wash room available with machine and tumble dryer. We do allowed one well behaved pet, dogs are requested to be kept on leads outside.Payment for electricity is by £1 coin meter, hot water and bed linen are included in the price. Central heating is available at an extra cost of £10 a week (including vat). Towels are available on request at a small charge. There is ample parking space and storage for bikes if on a cycling holiday. The farm is a ten minute walk away from Beanmister which is a delightful small town with a few shops. West Bay is on the coast with a golf course set on the cliffs. There are regular fishing trips from the harbour and many cliff walks. Beanmister provides an ideal base to explore the Jurassic coast line along the Chesil, Swanage, Lyme Regis, Charmouth and Weymouth. Close by are Abbotsbury gardens, the Swannery, Dartmoor, Exmoor, Longleat wildlife park, Bovington Tank museum, FleetAir arm museum and Sherborne Abbey.
