Rural Living
North Buckham, in West Dorset, is a fully working, busy family Friesian Dairy Farm, where our Charolais beef cattle and flocks of Suffolk and Clun sheep graze on rolling pastures. As well as chickens, dogs and cats our friendly ponies, Chorus and Megan, can give led rides all year round.
Inviting Tranquility
This idyllic walking and riding country is the perfect setting for your authentic farm stay. Collect eggs for your breakfast, feed the orphan lambs or simply enjoy the unforgettable panoramic views.
Unique Beaminster
We are 3 miles from this market town. Within the characterful main square is an interesting range of shops including a delicatessen, butchers and bakery. The town has all the amenities you might require, and after your shop you need only wander a few yards to unwind with a pint or a cup of tea.
Coast, Culture and Concorde!
Close to Dorset's famous coastline there is a rich diversity of things to do and see, fossils at Lyme Regis, hatching cygnets at Abbotsbury or the sandy beach at Regency Weymouth. Also within easy reach is Yeoviltons Fleet Air Arm Museum, haunted Athelhampton House or Hardy's Cottage.
Rich Memories
There is so much to do that one stay at North Buckham will not be enough to exhaust the possibilities of this stunning area. The glimpse of buzzards and foxes in the misty morning or badgers and deer at dusk will stay with you forever.
