This beautiful stone barn (called The Mews as a domesticated gos hawk used to live there) is a wonderful hide-away for couples. Offering an idyllic retreat from the stress of modern life, The Mews is situated in a peaceful rural location on our organic dairy farm, yet is only minutes from the glorious South Devon coast.

It has an open plan living/kitchen area, with all modern comforts, and an elegant spiral staircase leading up to an open plan bedroom/bathroom. Look out over green fields as you relax in the roll top bath or step straight out of bed and through the patio doors to drink tea in the morning sunshine. There is a double bed upstairs, and a cot can be provided on request. If required, the settee downstairs converts to a single bed.

The small garden is totally private, with just the cows in the fields behind, with a patio table and BBQ for your use.

We are organic dairy farmers on the South Devon coast and have five holiday cottages which are all within easy walking distance of the coastal path and lovely beaches/coves. The vast empty wilderness of Dartmoor is also within sight and is a paradise for walkers, cyclists and horse riders.

Our cottages have rural views and secluded gardens, central heating and log fires. Kitchens are well equipped with all mod cons and we supply fresh milk from our cows when you arrive! We even stock up the freezer with a supply of our award winning organic Well Hung Meat Company organic beef and lamb from the farm - just help yourself and leave the money in the honesty box.

There are beautiful beaches nearby such as Mothecombe Beach which has acres of sand at low tide. Dartmoor and the beaches are just as spectacular in winter, when they provide exhilarating moorland rides or dramatic coastal walks.There are a number of good restaurants and traditional pubs nearby, particularly in the pretty village of Holbeton, or in Newton Ferrers and Noss Mayo which nestle either side of the Yealm estuary just over a mile away. What ever the weather, there is always plenty to do.
