Coombe Cottage is a delightful 200 year old traditional end terraced cottage with updated extensions overlooking farmland views. It stands in the picturesque village of Goodleigh, 3 miles to the east of of the market town of Barnstaple.

Situated, to enable you to enjoy the many tourist attractions of North Devon, including the popular beaches of Saunton, Croyde and Woolacombe. For walkers, Coombe Cottage is ideal for exploring Exmoor National Park or the coastal paths. For cyclists, we are close to the Tarka Trail. Opportunities exist to take advantage of the many golf courses and other outdoor pursuits such as fishing or sailing within the North Devon region.

The cottage is minutes away from the heart of the village. A short walk brings you to the New Inn pub, which offers a wide variety of home cooked food and real ale. There is a post office and Goodleigh church.

With exposed beams, a wood fired burner, large garden and quiet setting, this picturesque Devon cottage has all the facilities to ensure that you have everything required to enjoy your stay. 2006 was the first year in which Coombe Cottage is made available for holiday lets. We were awarded a 4 Star rating by the English Tourism Council for self catering accommodation. This rating provides an independent stamp of approval to give you confidence and reassurance that your precious holiday time and money are going to be well spent.

Accommodation:

· The cottage boasts stripped pine flooring throughout and rugs with slate tiles in the kitchen

· A downstairs cloakroom leads into a beamed lounge with a wood fire burner and leather settees, TV & DVD player

· The spacious garden room is where one can dine overlooking the garden

· A fully equipped kitchen with quality fitted units provides all the facilities required for self – catering, including a hob, cooker, integral fridge, freezer, dishwasher and microwave

· A separate utility room comprises a washing machine and tumble drier with a Belfast sink.

· Downstairs there is a white shower room with WC and sink

· Upstairs, the master bedroom features a high beamed ceiling with traditional stone fireplace. There is a double bed with co-ordinating furnishings and fitted cupboards

· A second bedroom has a double bed & wardrobe whilst a third smaller bedroom contains bunk beds.

· The bathroom features a modern white suite, WC sink and bath

· There is a patio with garden furniture, barbeque and large lawned area which provides an excellent opportunity for all to enjoy the many games provided

· All hot water, central heating and electricity are included in the price. Bed linen, towels, cleaning materials and guest toiletries are provided plus an initial supply of logs during the winter months and BBQ coals in the summer

· A welcome tray is presented upon your arrival
