The cottages form part of a refurbished courtyard development. Ideally situated for touring, walking and beaches (3 miles).
Once part of a working farm, the Holiday Cottages form part of a courtyard development.
Our two adjacent cottages “Janna’s” and “Demelza’s” each sleep four people (plus a cot).
All rooms have views of the countryside.
The cottages could make an ideal base for extended family groups or two families holidaying together, whilst maintaining privacy.
Each cottage has an open-plan lounge/dining/kitchen area, with one twin-bedded room and one double bedded room. They also have a shower room and WC.
All of the bedrooms have views, over the courtyard to the countryside beyond.
Bed linen and towels are provided at no extra charge. All bedrooms are equipped with clock radios.
The lounge areas have similar views and access to the south-facing courtyard, an ideal spot for a gentle start or finish to the day, watching the swallows swooping overhead.
The cottages are fully equipped with fridge/freezer, washer dryer, dishwasher, microwave oven, colour television with freeview, hairdryer, DVD player & film library, CD Player/Radio.
Night Storage heating and supplementary panel heaters are provided. All electricity, heating and linen is included. Janna's and Demelzas are a strictly no smoking
establishment.
To the rear of the properties are small enclosed patios with seating, leading to individual gardens with additional patio areas, barbecues, lawns etc. The cottages each have two designated off road parking spaces.
Nature Watch
During the past year we have been delighted to share with our guests sightings of baby rabbits in the courtyard, hedgehogs and toads on the patios, and squirrels in the shrubbery. Bats frequently visit us on summer evenings.
Birdlife abounds here!
As well as our regular pheasants, house and tree sparrows, blackbirds, wagtails, green, gold and bullfinches, yellow hammers, robins, owls, red legged partridges and swallows. We have had a family of bluetits behind a drainpipe, housemartins in various places, (most recently on a slate ledge outside a bedroom window) and two clutches of wrens in a hanging basket!
