The Moorings and Little Moorings stand high in Port Isaac overlooking the old village with its strange collection of fishermans cottages and interesting roofs.
From the patio of the moorings you will be able to see the start of the coastal footpath, leading up to Rosecarrock Hill and the high cliffs of Lobber sheltering the small harbour with its old fishing cellars.
The Cottage nestles firmly in the heart of the old village, a minute's walk away from the harbour and close to shops and restaurants. The Moorings offers 2 double, 1 twin and 1 single, bathroom with bath only, lounge/diner, separate kitchen, garden with patio.
One of the beauties of Port Isaac is that it is perfectly place for touring. Set yourself up for the day with a pre-breakfast stroll down to the harbour where you might see the fishing boats setting out. After breakfast, you'll be heading for the coast path or the beach, either nearby Port Gaverne or, perhaps, Polzeath, (5 miles away) one of the finest, safest surfing beaches on the North Cornish coast. And there are fishing trips, riding, and golf at the famous St Enedoc course, all close by.
